John Juanda

John Juanda was born in Indonesia and came to the United States in the year 1990 as a student. He attended the University of Oklahoma. He was born in the year 1971.

John Juanda had always been a school track star and had gained the right competitive edge then. He had also spent some time selling bibles door-to-door and then moved on to a profession as diverse as that of a professional poker player.

The thing that most opponents as well as the fans of John really like is his calm and sporting demeanor at the poker card table. John Juanda already has three World Series of Poker bracelets to his credit which is quite an achievement and has participated at five World Poker Tour final tables. When he was asked what he might ever think of doing if not being a professional poker player then all that he had to say was he would be a doctor.

John Juanda lives in Marina Del Rey in California in the United States. He has got several wins to his credit and is considered to be one amongst the top players. He has got 186 cashes and total winnings of $11,268,551. He has also won 23 First Place Finishes and not one or two but four WSOP Bracelets by the age of 39. That is certainly a great feat that he has achieved for himself. He is single and has no children.

John started playing professional poker in the year 1996 and since then there has been no looking back for him. His favorite games on the poker circuit have been and will always remain Pot Limit & No Limit Hold'em.

The surprising thing that he had to say about his ambition was not something about poker as he seems to be satisfied with what he has already achieved. But, what he would like is to be able to decipher the true meaning of life for human beings. He is fond of several other things besides poker and they are mostly linked with outdoor activities. If not outdoors then one will find him reading, watching movies, and travelling to new places.

The nickname that John Juanda goes by is JJ. He sure has come a long way from the first time that he Came to the United States to earn himself an MBA to now when he is earning millions of dollars. During that time he used to spend his weekends learning poker and honing those skills. That must have surely been one of the most wonderful of education for him as it has stood by him and gone on to gain him great popularity, fame and fortune as well.

In the year 2005, John went on to earn a great deal at the Monte Carlo poker table and that was just the beginning for him.
