Joe Cada
Joe Cada realized when he was a student that his passion lay in the game of poker and that he wanted to become a professional poker player. This is when he decided to drop out of college. His hometown was the Shelby Township in MI. Joe Cada was born on November 18, 1987.
This is when he took the leap of faith and went into playing poker full time. He had just started his classes at Macomb Community College but knew that that wasn't for him. This was one of the most lucrative decisions that he went on to make in his life. In a really short duration and because of his prowess at the game he was able to become a member of the 2009 World Series of Poker November Nine.
Then Joe Cada went on to earn a place for himself at the final table of the WSOP Main Event. In this event, he was able to win against other 6,494 players and earned himself a a win of $1,263,602. He had actually wanted to win the first-place prize of $8,546,435 and a gold bracelet. But, he hadn't fared really that badly at all in the tournament.
Cada tried his hand at the first ever World Series of Poker in 2009 after turning 21 last year. He cashed twice before the Main Event, and earned $6,681, and then $21,533.
At the 2009 WSOP Main Event, Joe Cada went on to set his eyes on the prize. He knew that the only way to go above what had been achieved by Grospellier was by winning the Main Event. Since then he has tried out several different techniques and strategies to win the game. His live tournament earnings have been $8,626,099. His has had 4 live cashes and has 1 WSOP bracelet to his name. the Bluff ESPN power rank that he has got for himself is 212.
Joe Cada certainly lived in a gambling environment right since the time that he was a boy. There were card games played at home regularly and his mother was a blackjack dealer at a local casino. However, he never ever dreamed that one day he would take it up as a serious profession. He continued to play online poker until he was sixteen. Though, he was not able to make enough money out of it until much later. At the same time, he continued to be on an overall winning spree.
Then, at the age of nineteen he played in Canada and when his bankroll reached six-figures he finally decided to quit college.
Joe Cada has won himself 4 cashes and the total winnings of $8,626,706. He has one First Place Finishes and one WSOP Bracelets.
His last win was at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) Season 7/ EPT Season 6 / LAPT Season 3/ NAPT Season 1 at the No Limit Hold'em High Roller - 8 Max where he gained a 11th position and won $51,450.
